An important pair of two-handled porcelain vases by Gustave Asch, with a beautiful gilded graphic decoration of chestnut leaves and chestnuts in their bogue, on a deep-blue background. The handles are fully gilded. Marked in gold under the base with a small axe for Gustave Asch and "France" (gilding partially faded).

Condition report: in very good overall condition, with a tiny chip on the base of one of the vases. The gilding is in very good original condition.
